Gentle, loving, caring, warm, affectionate. Non-smoker/infrequent drinker. Look on the bright side of life - great sense of humor. Like to tease and flirt and have the same done for me. I enjoy planning surprises for the man I love and like to be surprised, though it isn’t easily accomplished. I like to cuddle and hug and hold hands. I am not interested in sex outside of marriage, but am VERY interested in it inside marriage. I like to participate in great conversations about almost anything and have interest in learning about many, many things. I enjoy traveling, especially to new places. Would love to go back and spend a week in San Francisco. Would love to see the beaches of the world and take a cruise. I love listening to famous musicians in person and have been fortunate enough to have heard Elton John, Billy Joel, Rod Stewart, The Moody Blues, Aaron Neville, Sandi Patti, Larnell Harris, and Steve Green in person.
I like planned activities but also enjoy the excitement of spur-of-the-moment things. Once a girlfriend and I went to the beach on vacation and stayed at a hotel which had a Denny's. We saw that they were open 24 hours a day and decided to get up at 3:00 a.m. , order pancakes and then walk on the beach. So, we did! What great fun!
I LOVE to plan surprises for the man I love. When I was married, I once arranged with my husband's boss to "kidnap" him from work on a Friday on our anniversary. I got him home and announced that we were going to the Smokey Mountains for a week-end getaway. I love to cook my love great meals (I am a terrific cook!) and plan romantic surprises like his coming home from work to find me all bathed and perfumed and dressed in something that will drive him out of his mind. We can eat the great dinner I cooked and then have "dessert". :-) I am not interested in sex outside of marriage but EXTREMELY interested in it inside marriage.
I have a 4-year BA degree in English from Tennessee Temple University in Chattanooga, TN.
For the last 3 years I have been a partner in a web design business. My partner markets and I design. I also take part-time work assignments to fill in the sparse times. I was previously employed for 13 years at Intergraph Corporation, a large computer company in Huntsville, AL.
Enjoy my granddaughter, my 2 spoiled kitties, walks on the beach, swimming, dining out, dining in, movies, theater, concerts (almost any kind of music), watching baseball/football in person (especially pro teams), travel (US and abroad), watching Andy Griffith reruns, and reading (mostly mysteries). I love studying ancient archaeology, especially Egyptology. I sing and play the piano. I don’t dance bout would love for someone to teach me to slow dance; think it would be very romantic to slow dance with my love. Besides, I have rhythm that’s just dying to come out! I grow a few roses in my yard and love flowers.

I was reared in a Christian home and became a believer at age 23. I have attended church consistently through the years. I currently am a member of a Presbyterian church (PCA). I don’t always walk with the Lord the way I should be He is teaching me all along the way. I read the Bible consistently and pray. I have done volunteer counseling at our local Pro-Life center and went on a short-term missions trip to the Cherokee Indians in the summer of ’97. I have sung in choirs and played the piano and organ at various times through the years.
I am not perfect so I am not looking for a perfect man. I believe in accepting people the way they are and not in trying to change them. I like to celebrate the uniqueness of everyone, especially a life mate. I would like to marry someone who is a Christian and who is growing in the Lord. Someone who has interests similar to mine and who is my best friend - my soulmate. Someone who wants to walk through life with me, laughing and crying and holding each other’s hearts and hands. Someone who can disagree with me and still love me, someone who when angry with me will talk with me about the problem and not go off and pout. Whiners and the immature need not apply.
